Frequently
asked questions
Everything you need to know about Getspotted.
General
What is Getspotted?
Getspotted is an AI source intelligence tool. Enter any prompt, and it scans Google SERP + 5 major AI models (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, AI Overview) to reveal which URLs they actually cite — and how often.
How does it work?
Enter a prompt, and Getspotted fires 30 parallel queries across 6 sources (SERP + 5 LLMs). It aggregates every cited URL, identifies Hot Spots — pages that appear across multiple models — and scores each source by citation frequency.
Who is Getspotted for?
Revenue teams, growth marketers, agencies, and founders who want to turn AI recommendations into a new acquisition channel. If your buyers ask AI before they buy, Getspotted is for you.
Is Getspotted a GEO tool?
Yes. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about getting your brand cited in AI-generated responses. Getspotted gives you the data layer: which sources AI trusts, how often they appear, and where to focus your efforts.
Credits & Pricing
How does the credit system work?
Each plan comes with a set number of credits. Each scan costs credits depending on the depth of analysis. You can top up anytime with extra credit packs. Cached results are always free.
What’s included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 12 credits per month — enough for 1 full scan across all 6 sources. It gives you access to Hot Spots detection and frequency scoring to test the platform.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your existing data remains accessible. You can top up anytime with additional credit packs. There’s no pressure or auto-renewal.
Can I get a refund?
Credits are non-refundable once purchased, but they never expire. Use them at your own pace.
Features
What are Hot Spots?
Hot Spots are source pages that get cited by multiple AI models for the same query. If a page appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, AND Gemini responses, it’s a Hot Spot — and a high-value target for citation placement.
What is the Frequency Score?
The Frequency Score measures how often a source is cited across all scanned models. A score of 6/6 means every model referenced that source. Higher frequency = stronger authority signal.
Which sources does Getspotted scan?
6 sources: Google SERP, Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. We add new models as they gain market share.
Can I search from different countries?
Yes. Getspotted supports 12 countries: France, US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Canada, and Australia. AI citations vary by geography, so multi-country scanning reveals regional differences.
Data & Privacy
How fresh is the data?
Each scan queries AI models in real-time. Results reflect what the models return at the moment of the search. Cached results are refreshed periodically.
Can I export my data?
Yes. All plans include CSV export. Pro plans also include real-time source alerts when new Hot Spots emerge for your tracked keywords.
Is my data shared with other users?
No. Your scan results and tracked keywords are private to your account. We don’t share individual user data.
You've seen the pages AI recommends. You're not on them. Fix that.
One prompt. Six engines. Every page you're missing — with the contacts to get you listed.
